There is an enormous amount of pressure on people to feel like they have everything sorted when it comes to dating.
I felt like I needed to be the finished article and know how to act in all situations even though I had never been taught how to.
I could see firsthand that people were becoming more disconnected IRL. Male loneliness has more than tripled in twenty years and our fertility rate is at an all time low.
Play this forward and the future looks extremely bleak: devoid of romance, serendipity and full of constant comparing.
Even if my dating life is in shambles, it doesn't have to be this way for everyone else. I want us to be a part of a future of positive dating where there are no more situationships, clear communication at every level and where you can unashamedly be yourself.
